O'Connell City Clerk Building Dear Madam: This is in answer to the referral of the application of the Saint Paul Postal Employees Credit Union for a 16 -car off - street parking lot which will be located at the northwest corner of Fourth and Wacouta Streets. This property is described as Lot 1, Block 15, Whitney -Smith Addition and is classified as a 'light industrial" district. i This property is presently vacant having recently been cleared of an existing building. The proposed parking facility will be temporary in nature as it is contemplated to erect a new building on this property sometime in the future. This lot will be for public use on a rental basis. The subject property has a frontage of 50 feet along the north side of east Fourth Street and approximately 115 feet along the west side of Wacouta Street, which results in an area of approxi- mately 5,650 square feet. Field investigation discloses no basic objection to this proposal as the applicant's plans meet all the standards for this type of facility and indicate that the ingress and egress for this parking lot will be off a public alley ad- joining it on the north. The Traffic Engineer's office has re- viewed this proposal and recommends that it be approved. In view of the above findings, the Board of Zoning at its regular meeting of March 13, 1963, recommended approval of this applica- tion for a 16 -car off- street parking lot in accordance with the applicant's plan dated January 10, 1963 and received in the Planning Board office on March 19, 1963.
