Ludwig Award, and WHEREAS, the designated judges chosen by said League shall consider as nominees for said Award such persons who shall have been nominated for such Award by the Council of a member Mun- icipality, and WHEREAS, the Street and Highway Engineering Coordinator!' of this City, George M. Shepard, is a municipal employee whose distinguished career began with employment in municipal con- sulting engineering firms in 1919 and with this City in 1922, which career has spanned every major municipal improvement in the City of Saint Paul since 1922 and continues to the present date, to the benefit and betterment of this Community, and WHEREAS, the accomplishments and deserved awards of George M. Shepard are well known and recognized, establishing said George M. Bisanz Properties, as it now appears that the petitioner for this vacation is the City of Saint Paula and the proper City officers are hereby authorized to make such refund.
