RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint
Paul hereb y takes cognizance of certain legislation
now pending before the Minnesota State Legislature
relating to the cremation of bonds, coupons, and
other obligations of municipalities and of the State
and any agency, instrumentality, and subdivision thereof,
amending Minnesota Statutes 1961 Section 475.553,
and embodied in House File No. 1+77; and
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint
Paul strongly urges the passage of said proposed
legislation and requests the Ramsey County Delegation
to work towards its enactment into law; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk is hereby
instructed to forward copies of this Resolution to the
Chairmen of the Ramsey County House and Senate
Delegations.
