Council City of Saint Paul Gentlemen: A statement of expense.has been filed with the City Clerk on this date for the purpose of creating a lien on the property known as 168 East Minnehaha Avenue, described as West 1/2 of Lot 6, .Block 1, Ashton And Sherburne's Addition. This property is owned.by Jos. R. and Marie F. Bruski, 1498 Jackson Street, Saint Paul 17, Minnesota. In this matter, the following resolutions were adopted by the City Council: C.F. 208900,adopted by the Council September 4, 1962 (published September 8, 1962) set a public hearing' at 10 A. M. September 25, 1962. C.F. 209282, adopted by the Council September 27, 1962 (publish- ed September 29, 1960 ,. ordered the wrecking by and at the sepa- rate expense and cost of the owner, occupant, or other person in control thereof. C.F. 209587,,ado ted by the Council October 18, October 20, 19625, directed the Commissioner of ation And Public Buildings to enter the premise remove the dwelling thereon., and do any and all necessary for the protection of life, limb, and erty. 1962 (published Parks .And Recre- s and wreck and things therein adjoining prop- C.F. 210404, adopted by the Council December 18, 1962 (published December 22, 1962,)approved the award of the contract for wreck- ing to Truck Crane Service Co-. for the sum of $385.00 in accord- ance with specifications and Informal Bid No. 4648. I C.F. 211435, adopted by the Council February 27, 1963 (published March 2,. 1963,) provided that the wrecking expense of $385.00 and expense of the Department of Parks And Recreation.And Public Buildings in connection with the condemnation in the amount of $61.30, making a total of $446.30, be paid out of Wrecking Condemned Buildings, 31 G 22, and, in the event said sum proves collectible from the owner, same is to be credited to 31 G 22. The building has now been satisfactorily wrecked and a regis- tered bill mailed to the .owners. We are requesting that you hold a public hearing with ten days' notice.to consider any complaints about the expenses incurred and.to confirm the amount. The Council resolution confirming the expense should end with a directive to the City Clerk to file a statement of expense for the purpose of securing a lien on the property.
