FILE _ OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUNCIL RESOLUTION- GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY ��� COMMISSIONER_ Z _DATE — WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from March 16, 1963 to March 31, 1963, inclusive which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Public Utilities for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Making emergency repairs to street lighting circuits, Making air pollution tests, Making concrete block tests, Checking bus schedules and loadings, and WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: Overtime work required to restore street lighting service immediately for public safety, Work necessary at irregular hours to complete tests for federal agency, Completion of tests requiring continuous attention, Overtime work required because of special events at the Auditorium, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions Of the Council's salary n- Ai„annn nl A4-nn w^ AAAA COUNCILMEN Yeas Nays Dalglish Holland Loss Mortinson Peterson Rosen Mr. President, Vavoulis 101 6-62 , Council File No. 211985 --By , Bernard T.
