RESOLVED, That an extra in the amount of $619.00 be
allowed under Contract No. G-3026 between the City of Saint
Paul and .Otis Elevator Company,- said contract for Replace-
ment of the Elevators At The Public Safety Building, 101
East Tenth Street,L'Saint Paul, Minnesota, and said extra to
cover furnishing and installing a governor operated counter-
weight safety, this work having-been requested by the Com-
missioner of Public Safety, and agreement made with the
contractor, and a memorandum of said agreement having been
filed with the Comptroller and countersigned by him.

Dear Sir:
Contract G 3026 was awardedr to the Otis Elevator Company for
Replacement of Two Elevators at the Public Safety Building,
101 East Tenth Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work, under this contract, it was
found necessary to install a governor operated counterweight
safety under one of the elevators. We have negotiated with
the Contractor who agrees to furnish and install a governor
operated counterweight safety for the amount of $619.00, which
is a reasonable amount for the labor and material involved.
It is, therefore, requested that a resolution be submitted
to the Council authorizing this extra in the amount of $619.00
to Contract G -3026 for the above described work.
