In the Matter of condenming and taking an easement in the land necessary for the
slopes, cuts and fills,.including the right of removal of lateral support from subject
land or remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes
in the grading and paving of the Rondo - Frontage Road in conjunction with the Interstate
94 from Arundel St. Westerly approximately 250 ft- in parts of hots 25, 26, 27, 28 and
29, Block 17, Mackubin and Marshall's Addition to St. Paul
under Preliminary Order 211713 approved March 19, 196
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to condemn and take
an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and fills, including the right
of removal�of lateral support from subject land or remainder thereof, occasioned by
excavations thereof-or construction of slopes in the grading and paving of the Rondo-
Frontage Road in conjunction with the Interstate 94 from Arundel St. westerly approx-
irately 250 ft. in parts of Lots 25,26, 27, 28 and 29.. Block 17, Mackubin and
Marshall's Addition to St. Paul, in accok"pce with the blueprint hereto attached
and made a part hereof, the batched portions showing the cuts and the shaded portions
showing the fills
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 50.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 23rd day of
April, 1963 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
