WHEREAS, the Public Employees Retirement Association
has recommended that the Council of the City of Saint Paul
endorse certain proposed recommendations of said Association
for the amendment of the Public Employees Retirement
:Association Law, therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul
approves the report and recommendations of the Public
Employees Retirement Association Legislative Committee
dated October 26, 1962, copy of which report is attached
hereto and made a part hereof; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint
Paul hereby takes cognizance of the pendency of proposed
legislation for enactment by the Minnesota Legislature
which would provide for and embody said legislative program
of the Public Employees Retirement Association, being
House File No. 647 and Senate File No. 670; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint
Paul hereby requests the legislature to enact and adopt such
legislation and respectfully requests the members of the Ramsey
County Delegation to support enactment into law of the provisions
of the aforesaid House File No. 647 and- $'enate File No. 670.
