WHEREAS, the Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul
has requested that the City of Saint Paul deed to said Authority
the Minnetonka Playground site, more particularly described as
follows:
Subject to easement to the United States of America
for harbor spoils, the following: Vacated alley
adjacent and Lots 1 through 12, Block 23, Dunwell
and Spencer's Addition to Brooklynd;
Subject to easement to the United States of America
for harbor spoils and subject to sewer easement,
the following: Vacated alley adjacent and Lots 1, 2,
3, 10, 11, and 12, all in Block 24, Dunwell and
Spencer's Addition to Brooklynd;

Vacated Chester Street adjacent to Blocks 23 and
24, Dunwell and Spencer's Addition to Brooklynd;
the same having been appraised by the City Valuation Engineer
at $11,880.00, which is satisfactory to the Port Authority; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City officers are hereby authorized
and directed to execute a deed for the above described property to
the Port Authority for the consideration of $11,880.00.

Dear Sir:
The Port Authority has requested that the City of Saint Paul deed
to the Port Authority the lands included in the Minnetonka Play -
1ound site. I have appraised the Minnetonka Playground site at
1,880.00 and this figure is satisfactory to the Port Authority.
The legal description of the Minnetonka Playground site is as
follows:
"Subject to easement to the United States of America for
harbor spoils the following: "Vacated alley adjacent and
Lots 1 thru 12, Block 23, Dunwell and Spencer's Addition
to Brooklynd." Also:
"Subject to easement to the United States of America for
harbor spoils and subject to sewer easement the following:
Vacated alley adjacent and Lots 1, 2, 3, 10, 11, and 12,
all in Block 24, Dunwell and Spencer's Addition to
Brooklynd." Also:
"Vacated Chester Street adjacent to Blocks 23 and 24,
Dunwell and Spencer's Addition to Brooklynd."
I request you prepare the necessary council resolution approving
the sale price at $11,880.00 and authorizing the conveyance of
the hereinbefore described lands to the Port Authority and that
you prepare the necessary deed of conveyance.
The Port Authority will furnish abstracts for the subject lands
if required, and I will be pleased to furnish any additional
information you might request relating hereto.
