COMMISSIONER DATE February 1963
WHEREAS,'Contract No. L- 6344" -A for the Grading and Surfacing
of Hoyt Avenue from Winthrop Street to Furness Street and
Furness Street from Hoyt Avenue to a point 205 feet south;
also the construction of a Sewer in Hoyt Avenue from
Winthrop Street to Ruth Street, F. Morettini Construction
Company, Contractor, was completed in November,:-1961, with
the exception of the Seal Coat, and
WHEREAS, there was withheld from the final amount paid to
F. Morettini Construction Company, the sum of $100.00, which
amount was to be released when the Seal Coat work was done,
but due to circumstances beyond the control of said con-
tractor, the Seal Coat could not be placed in 1962, and it
now is deemed desirable that the Seal Coat work be done by
City Forces, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Commissioner of Public Works be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to have this work of Seal -
Coating done by City Forces and charged to Contract L- 6344 -A
in the amount of $100.00, and this same amount to be deducted
from the Reserve due F. Morettini Construction Co.

leased when the Seal Coat work was
done, but due to circumstances beyond
the control of said contractor, the Seal
Coat could not be placed in 1962, and it
now is deemed desirable -that the Seal
Coat work be done by City Forces,
therefore, be it
Resolved, That the Commissioner of
,Public Works be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to have this
work of Seal- Coating done by City
Forces and charged to Contract L-
6344-A in the amount of $100.00, 'and
this same amount to be deducted from
