WEERE&S, the Commissioner of Public Safety has reported in accordance with Section 53
of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from February 1, 1963
to February 28, 1963, which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees in the
I
Department of Public Safety for more than eight hours per day, or forty hours per week,
in doing the following works
Clerical work in the Bureau of General Administration (Office) and
AREAS., this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances$
Lack of personnel to type reports and keep current records up to date.
THEREFORE BE 1T RESOLVED: That the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay
the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Councils
Salary Ordinance No. 6446,
