Detective Division or of the staff functions of the Bureau of

To direct, control, and coordinate the functions of all the units in

To discuss plans, programs, objectives and procedures with unit
• heads and to critically review their.work.
To study and recommend staffing needs.
To report to the .Chief on the activities and problems of the assigned

To direct the budget estimates for the assigned division.
To be respor;sible for the efficiency of the personnel of the assigned

To act in the place of the Chief when so assigned.
Minimum qualifications:
High school graduation. Must have held the position of Police
Lieutenant, Police Captain, Detective, Detective Lieutenant
or Assistant Chief of Police in the St. Paul Police Department
