WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public
Buildings has recommended the leasing of the privilege of operating a
novelty, souvenir and balloon concession in Como Park to Theodore O'Neil,
263 Marshall Place, ' for the park season of 1963, said• lessee to pay
$1, 000.'00 for said privilege, payable $250. 00 on July 1, 1963, $250. 00
on August 1, 1963, and $500. 00 on September 1, 1963; and such least of
privilege to be conditioned that the lessee shall not hawk or peddle any
merchandise in said park, and further provided that such stands shall be
situated at locations within the zoo and amusement areas of Como Park.,
as approved by the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public
Buildings; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council concurs in the recommendation of the
Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings, and the
Corporation Counsel is hereby authorized and directed to draw the proper
lease therefor, and the proper City officers are authorized to execute the
same on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
