RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Construction of an Ornamental Lighting
System on Jackson Street from Grove Street to University Avenue; University Avenue
from Jackson Street to Cedar Street; Robert Street from Central Avenue to
University Avenue to KEEHNEE ELECTRIC COMPANY in accordance with City.plans and
specifications therefor.hereto attached and the Formal Bid #9074 of said Kehne
Electric Company for the contract price,of $25,037.00 (plus Engineering $1,001.00
and plus Inspection $501.00 by City Forces).such bid being the lowest meeting
specifications and said Kehne Electric Company being a reasonable and reliable
bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is direct6d to draw up the proper
form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
