Whereas Under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 11542, approved August
4, 1959, the Car Allowance Committee provided for in Section 5 has
reported'its findings and recommendations to the Council in a let-
ter dated February 19, 1963 and
Whereas, the Council has made a study of said report and recommenda-
tions, therefore be it

Resolved by the Council of the City of Saint�Paul that the employees
listed below shall be entitled to and receive mileage allowances as
follows:

Gentlemen:
In accordance with Ordinance 11542, the Car Mileage Committee
met February 19, 1963 and passed on the following requests:
SAINT PAUL PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Mr. John M. Gran submitted requests for mileage for the follow-
ing:
Mrs. Dorothy J. Olson, Sub. Teach. C -$15 Eff. 1 -31 -63
Arthur G. Borchardt, School Social
Worker C -$15 'Eff. 2 -18 -63
Stanley Doucette Increase C Plan from $25 to $35
Eff. 2 -1 -63
and the removal of
Delbert G. Leaf, School Social
Worker C -$15 Eff. 2 -16 -63
After due consideration of these requests, the Committee recom-
mends that the Council act favorable on them.
DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION AND PUBLIC BUILDINGS
A request from Commissioner Loss was for the removal of
Howard Lee, Bldg. Insp. B -$75 Eff. 2 -1 -63
Roy Nicholson, Bldg. Insp. B -$75 Eff. 2 -1 -63
It is the recommendation of the Committee that these requests
be granted as these building inspectors are no longer employ-
ed by the City.

Mr. Kivel is retiring and Mr. Hennessy will be replacing Mr.-,Kiv-
el. Mr. Rockwood will not be using his car in his work. The
Committee recommends that the Council grant these requests.
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
A, request signed by John J. Eichinger and approved by Commission-
er Milton Rosen was for mileage for
Frank Lux, Asst. P.W. Tech. C -$25 1 -1 to 4 -1
B -$75 4 -1 to 11 -30
as Mr. Lux is currently on the St. Peter -Rondo sewer project and
should revert to his B plan on April 1. The Committee recommends
this for favorable action.
