RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the recommendation bf ►the
Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings, to lease the
privilege of operating two miniature golf putting courses, one at Como Park and
one at Highland Park, to Mr. H. J. Kestner, 1384 E. Como Blvd., and Mr. Thomas
J. Reilly, 433 Johnson Parkway, for the park seasons of 1963, 1.964 and 1965, the
said Messrs. Kes.tner and Reilly to pay for the privilege the sum of $750. 00 per
year for Como Park, payable $250. 00 on June 1, and $250. 00 on July 1, and
$250. 00 on August 1 of each year; and the sum of $200. 00 per year for Highland
Park, payable $100. 00 on June 1, and $100. 00 on July 1 of each year, and to
provide public liability and property damage policy which shall be approved by
the Corporation Counsel; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Corporation Counsel is hereby authorized
and directed to draw the proper 1 -ease therefor, and when drawn, the proper City
officers are authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the lessee restore the land to its present con-
dition at the expiration of the lease.
