FILE _ " OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK a = = --- COJUNCIL �%OLUTION— GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONER DATE February 11, 1963 RESOUM, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water Department, St. Paul, Minnesota, 5,000 Ft. 16" Cast Iron Water Pipe, Class 150, Mechanical Joint, pipe thickness .63 inches, to UNITED STATES PIPE AND FOUNDRY CCMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #9120 of said United States Pipe and Foundry Company for the contract price of $31,300-00 (Board of Water Commissioners reserving the right to increase the materials of the contract by an amount not to exceed twenty per cent of the quantity indicated for that item) such bid being the lowest and said United States Pipe & Foundry Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behal3 of the City of Saint Paul.
