PAUL COUNCIL NO OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FILE UNCIL RESOLUTION- GENERAL FORM PRESENTED COMMISSI WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accor- dance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from November 16 to November 30, 1963 inclusive which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Public Utilities for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Making emergency repairs to street lighting circuits, Making air pollution tests, and WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: Overtime work required to restore street lighting service immediately for public safety, Work necessary at irregular hours to complete tests for federal agency, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
