OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FILE COUNCIL nSOLUTION- GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY /_� COMMISSIONER �% DATE — WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accor- dance irith Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from November 1 to November 159 1963 inclusive which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Public Utilities for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Making air pollution tests, Making concrete block tests, - Supervising the activities of the City Market, and WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: Work necessary at irregular hours to complete tests for federal agency, Completion of tests requiring continuous attention, Work made necessary on regular days off and on Holiday because of increased activity at the City Market, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
