therefore, and hereby awards contracts for furnishing and delivering Water Gate Valves
to the Water Department, Hamlin & Oarroll Avenues, St. Paul. Minnesotag as follows!

for the contract price of $67236,00
Tot JAMES B. CLOW & SONS - Ten 12" and Ninety 6" -
for the contract price of $ 5845050
in accordance with.City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #9507
of said bidders (Board of Water Commissioners reserving the right to increase any individual
item of the Materials of the Contract by an amount not to exceed twenty -five per cent of
the quantity indicated for each item), such bids being the lowest and said bidders being
reasonable and reliable ones and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to
draw up the proper form of contracts therefor# and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized,to execute said contracts on behalf of the City of Saint Paul„
