RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Installation of Traffic Signals at (New
Signal) Dunlap & Marshall with interconnection, Dunlap to Lexington, (Revision)
Maynard Dr. W. & W. Seventh to COLLINS FJMTRICAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY for the
contract price of $8,980.00 (Unit prices bid to be used in determining the value of
any additions and 80% of unit prices bid to be used in determining the value of any
deductions in the work to be done under the plans which may be ordered by the
Commissioner of Public Works or his authorized Agent) in accordance with City plans
ara specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #9504 of said Collins
Electrical Construction Company, plus,$493.90 Engineering ana.plus $179.60 Inspection
by City Forces, such bid being the lowest and said Collins Electrical Construction
Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and
hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, ani the proper
City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City
of Saint Paul.
