RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing
Committee therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering
to the Water Department Filtration Plant, 1900 Rice Street, St. Paul, Minnesota,
approximately 80 tons Sodium Aluminate Tryhydrate, Nalfloc #617, during period
of one year beginning December 10, 1963, to NALCO CHEMICAL COMPANY, in
accordance with City specifications and the Formal Bid #9494 of said Nalco

Chemical Company for the contract price of approximately $16,648.00, such bid
being the only bid and said Nalco Chemical Company being a reasonable and
reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw
up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby
authorized to-execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
