COUNCIL NO.
RESOLVED, that Schroeder Milk Company be permitted to
install and operate a 22 -car capacity off - street parking lot
on property located at the southwest corner of Dale Street and
Thomas Avenue, on Lots 1, 2, 3, Block 3, Chute Brothers'
Division No. 3, Addition to the City of St. Paul, Minn.,
in accordance with plans approved April 11, 1963, as revised by
plans dated May 2, 1963, subject to compliance with the provisions
of all ordinances governing the operation of parking lots, and to
the condition that the sidewalks abutting said premises be kept
clean and free of ice and snow at all times.

attached application of Schroeder Milk Co. for permit to install and
operate a 22 -car off-street parking lot at the southwest corner of Dale
St. and Thomas Ave., on Lots 1, 2, 3, Block 3, Chute Bros. Division,
in accordance with plans approved April 11, 1963 as revised by plans
dated May 20 1963-

This is in the matter of the application of the Schroeder Milk
Company for a permit to install and operate a 22 car off- street
parking lot on property located at the southwest corner of Dale
Street and Thomas Avenue which is described as Lots 1, 2, 3,
Block 3, Chute Bros. Division. The property is zoned commercial.
The property is being cleared and will be developed with a new
store building with off-street parking accessory thereto. The
site has a frontage of 120 feet on the south side of Thomas Avenue
and 124 feet on the west side of North Dale Street, resulting in
an area of 14,880 square feet. West and adjoining is a single -
family residencd which fronts on Thomas Avenue; north and across
Thomas Avenue is a three - family residence and a commercial develop-
ment which fronts on Dale Street; east and across Dale Street are
various commercial uses; south and across a public alley is a
single- family residence which fronts on North Dale Street.
Field investigation discloses no basic objection. The Traffic
Engineer has approved the plan which meets the standards for this
type of facility.
In consideration of the above factors, the Board of Zoning
recommends the granting of the application for a permit for a
22 car off - street parking lot on the above described property
in accordance with plans approved April 11, 1963 and as reflected
in the revised plans dated May 2, 1963.
