In the Matter of condemning and taking an easement for the purpose of constructing
and maintaining a public'sewer on, under and across the west 4 feet of the east 6 feet
of Lot 19, Block 2, E. M. Mackubints 2nd Addition to the City of St. Paul from Case
Ave. to the alley in the rear of.sai.d lot. Also condemning a temporary easement for
construction purposes on a strip of land 8 feet in width on the west side of the
above easement and the east 2 feet of Lot 19 and the west 6 feet of Lot 20 in said
Block 2, E. M. Mackubin's 2nd Addition to the City of St. Paul from Case Ave. to
the alley in Block 2, E. M. Mackubin's 2nd Addition to the City of St. Paul
under Preliminary Order 208567 Approved August 8, 1962
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which- the Council recommends is to condemn and take
an easement for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a public sewer on, under
and across the west 4 feet of the east 6 feet of Lot 19, Block 2, E. M. Mackubin's
2nd'Addition to the City of St. Paul from Case Ave. to the alley in the rear of said
lot. Also condemning a temporary easement for construction purposes on a strip of
land 8 feet in width on the west side of the above easement and the east 2 feet of
Lot 19 and the west 6 feet of Lot 20' in said Block 2, E. M. Mackubints 2nd Addition
to the City of St. Paul from Case Ave. to the alley in Block 2, E. M. Mackubints
2nd Addition to the City of St. Paul
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 325.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the lath day of
.Tun f 1963 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
