Gentlemen:
At a meeting of the Executive Board of the
Horace Mann'Parent- Teacher Association held on Monday,
April first, the following motion was passed:
"We urge that the City Council and the members
of the'Legislature from St. Paul support and
actively work for a reduction in the majority
requir6d to amend the City' Charter from the
present 55% majority to a simple majority of
those voting."
It was the desire of the members of the
Executive Board that their support of this measure
be made known to the members of the St. Paul City
Council.
