WHEREAS, Harold Reeves, in his capacity as a licensed house drain
contractor, has been charged in the amount of $413.84 by the Department of
Public Works for services necessitated by that Department arising out of
work q'f Harold Reeves; and
WHEREAS, demand has been made upon Harold Reeves to pay said amount
and he has refused; and
WHEREAS, the Harms Accident and Indemnity Company, which is the
surety on a certain licensed house drain contractor's annual bond and Harold -
Reeves is principal and the City of Saint Paul is the obligee, pursuant to which
bond the Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company has agreed to pay the City of
Saint Paul $413.84 on the condition that the City will release said surety
and assign the City's claim against Harold Reeves; be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officers are directed and authorized
to execute, on behalf of the City of Saint Paul, the attached release and
assignment of claim, herewith incorporated and made a part of this resolution.
