WHEREAS, the City Council, on August 9, 2006 by Resolution Number CF06-740, authorized the
Director of Planning and Economic Development to apply to the Metropolitan Council for a grant to
construct Fillmore Avenue from Wabasha Street easterly to the Union Pacific railroad crossing and to
construct said crossing; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul was awazded a$75Q000 Metropolitan Council LCDA Grant
for Fillmore Avenue;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Saint Paul accepts said Metropolitan
Council LCDA Grant and authorizes the Director of Public Works to sign the grant agreement.
