VHEPMSj the Commissioner of Public Safety has reported,, in_ accordance with_
Section 53 of the Caty.Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period _
from April 15th 1963 to April 30th 1963, uhich rendered necessary the employment
of certain employees in the Department of Public Safety for-more than eight hours
per day, or forty hours per week, in_doing the following work.
Maintenance work in the Bureau of Police & Fire Alarm and
WHEREAS, this emergency arose'by r_eem= of the following facts and circumstances
Emergency Repairing of Traffic Signals
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to
pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the
Council's Salary Ordinance No. 6/.,x.6
