therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Department of

One Allis- Chalmers Model HD 6DC Diesel - powered Crawler Tractor with A -C Model 16CS
(Special 12`;1: - Dozer) to BORCHERT- INGERSOLL, INC. in accordance with City specifications
therefor and the Formal Bid 49125 of said Borchert - Ingersoll, Inc. for the price of
$359074.67 less allowance of $10,750.00 for trade in of one 1958 A-C Crawler Tractor, Model
HD16, Serial HD16AC -3072 (City•No. 428) complete with dozer and winch, making net amount
of contract $240324.67, such bid .being the lower and said Borchert- Ingersoll, Inc. being
a reasonable and reliable bidderand the CorporationCounsel be and hereby is authorized
to draw up the proper form of contract therefor andthe proper City officials are hereby
directed to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St.Paul.
