WHEREAS, the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Saint Paul
desires to emphasize the week of May 5 to May 11, 1963, officially
designated as "Clean up, Paint up, Fix Up Week 'W; and
WHEREAS, to commence said designated week and to publicize
its purposes, said Junior Chamber of Commerce desires to stage a
parade through Downtown Saint Paul on Robert, Sixth and Wabasha
Streets on May 3, 1963, at 1:00 p. m.; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Committee responsible for issuing parade
permits may, by authority of this resolution, make exception for
that parade herein described, insofar as date and time has been
requested; and
- - - - - - RESOLVED EURTHER,.that the letter of said Junior Chamber,
dated April-15, 1963, addressed to the City Clerk, may be forwarded
to the Chief of Police as application for permit, by said Junior
Chamber; and
RESOLVED FURTHER, that nothing in this resolution shall be
construed to limit or inhibit the authority orlresponsibility of
that Committee established in Section 130.09 of the Legislative Cods.
