SCHROEDER, City Architect 445 City Hall, Zone 2 CApital 4 -4612 Ext. 361 April 18, 1963 Honorable Council City of Saint Paul Gentlemen: Mr. Edward T. Hinrichs at 2040 Margaret Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota has requested permission to construct a six foot high redwood louvered fence on his property. This fence is to enclose a swimming pool in the back yard. Our office has made an investigaticn of this and have talked to neighbors, as well as to Mr. Hinrichs, and recommends that approval be granted for the construction of an oversized fence at the above address. Sincerely yours, Alfr H. Schroeder CI ARCHITECT AHS:gg A. H. Schroeder' _a- City Architect 445 amity nail at. Paul; Minn. year 81 r; In compliance with the St. Paul building code, I am asking permission to erect a six foot high redwood, louvred fence on my property. This fence is desired for the safety and privacy it will afford. As we have a-swimming pool in the back yard, it does attract the youngsters. 'These children have been exceptionally - good, but the fear still remains that one may climb the chain link fence that we do have, and ,-fall in. The louvred fence will be constructed so that it can not be climbed from the outside by youngsters. Also', the fact that they can not see in will help to remove the attraction. I have enclosed two drawings; one a plot plan of my property and one plan to show the .relationship of the two schools to my property. If any questions arise, please call me at 771 -6472 or 771 =2818. Yours truly, warT. in richs a .Ca m a -+ c 2040 wargaret 6treet v W 6t. Yaul, 19, Minn. w April 8, 1963 A. H.
