Whereas, John Figura, an employe!
of the Public Works Department of the —
City of Saint Paul, was injured in a
third party accident on March 9, 1962, '-

WHEREAS,. John Figura, an employe of the Public Works
Department of the -City of Saint Paul, was injured in a third
party accident on March 9, 1962.,, while he was operating the
City's vehicle; and
WHEREAS, the City has expended on behalf of said employe
the sum of $315.00 during the period he was disabled from work
by way of compensationr and the sum of $390.25 in medical
expense, and the City *s,lrq.�drfy3 was damaged to the extent of
$181.20 reflected in Comptroller * -s Registered Bill 1 -9248;
that the office of the City Corporation Counsel recommends
compromise of this latter figure to the sum of $144.96
reflecting a depreciation allowance; and
WHEREAS, the insurers , of Fames Swedenburg,. third party
involved in said accident,. -have offered,to fully reimburse
the City fr its subrogation claim in connection with the
injury of its employe and to pay the compromise figures with
respect to the Registered Bill referred to above;
Now,. Therefore,. • be it _
RESOLVED,. That the proper city officers are hereby
authorized to accept the sum of $850.21 in full, final and
complete settlement of the city's subrogation claim for injury
to its employee John Figura in said third party accident and
for its property damage represented by Registered Bill No.
1 -9248, and to sign the necessary releases therefor; that
$705.25 be credited to Fund 31 Gl A and that $144.96 be
credited -to the payment of Registered Bill No. 1 -9248; that
the" remainder of said bill is cancelled.

WHEREAS, John Figura, an employe of the Public Works
Department of the City of Saint Paul, was injured in a third
party accident on March 9, 1962, while he was operating the
City's vehicle= and
WHEREAS, the City has expended on behalf of said employe
the sum of $315.00 during the period he was disabled from work
by way of compensation, and the sum of $390.25 in medical
