and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water Deptes Ste Paul,
Minnesota$ approx. 2050 feet of 24" Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe with rubber and steel
joints Class 1509 and all necessary fittings and appurtenances to INTERNATIONAL PIPE AND
CERAMICS CORP in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the
Formal Bid #9211 of said International Pipe and Ceramics Corp, for the contract price of
approximately $269773000 (Board of Water Commissioners reserving the right to increase the
materials of the contract by an amount not to exceed twenty per cent of the quantity
indicated) such bid being the lowest and said International Pipe and Ceramics Corp.
being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directdd to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of StePaule
