File NO. 212232 —By James J.' i ,?Lish- •: eas,` '-Phe City of Saint ,Paul, comorr 26 -4 AS, <` a City of Saint Paul, either in its individual ca Yrpo.rate pacity y or in connection with the State of Minnesota, is from time to time engaged in condemnation proceedings throughout said City, which proceedings may be and are conducted in connection with several of the various departments, bureaus and agencies of said City under the over -all supervision and assistance of the Bureau of Valuations; and WHEREAS, among the certain properties being condemned are multi -unit dwellings which contain, from time to time, one or more tenants in addition to the owner of said premises, which tenants must by virtue of State law be served with appropriate notices of. eviction; and WHEREAS, the scheduling of various City projects requiring the aforesaid condemnation of property is conducted on the basis of the timetables of the operating departments, bureaus and agencies of said City, Now, Therefore, be it RESOLVED, That__ - appr_opriat a _of f icers said City are hereby authorized to issue, such notices of evictions and to commence wrongful detainer as may be required, the actions being based on recommendations to the Bureau of Valuations; and and officials of from time to time, such action in said notices and be set forth by RESOLVED FURTHER, That the action of the Bureau of Valuations shall be based upon the needs and considerations of the operating departments, bureaus and agencies of the City of Saint Paul involved; and RESOLVED FURTHER,�That insofar as the authority contained in this resolution is concerned, the term "tenant" shall include owners, tenants under oral or written lease, and such other persons in physical and /or actual possession of the premises condemned.
