RESOLVED, pursuant to the pertinent application by
Saint Paul Figure Skating Club, acting in the premises by
its Secretary, Matthew H. Zats, that the use of the Municipal
Auditorium Arena with ice rink hereby is granted to said
Saint Paul Figure Skating Club for its conduct of the,1963
Upper Great Sub - Sectional Figure Skating Championships on
November 30 and December 1, 1963, with practice privileges
on November 28 and November 29, 1963, the latter to be with-
out interference with the "SAINTS" Saint Paul International
Hockey League Team events, such being in part beneficial to
all the people of Saint Paul, upon the following terms and
conditions: that the rent charge payable and to become
payable therefor by said Saint Paul Figure Skating Club to
the City of Saint Paul shall represent the equivalent of
60 per cent of the gross ticket sales receipts for said
championships events on November 30 and December 1, 1963,
and subject to the further requirement that said Saint Paul
Figure Skating Club, at its own expense and without expense
to said City shall provide tickets,'ticket sellers and ticket
takers for the same and that the remainder of said gross
ticket sales receipts, representing the equivalent of 40 per__,_
cent of the sane, shall be retained by and be the property
of said -Saint Paul Figure Skating Club;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that said hereby granted uses
of said Municipal Auditorium Arena of the City of Saint Paul,
with ice rink facilities, in addition to other facilities of
the same, for the aforesaid purposes and subject to the afore-
said conditions, shall be subject to the further condition
that said Saint Paul Figure Skating Club shall be liable to
fully indemnify and hold harmless said City from and against
all liability on account of all claims for injury to person
or property connected with or arising from said use and to
procure and maintain, at said Saint Paul Figtire Skating Club's
own cost and expense, public casualty liability insurance
covering said Club and said City, as insureds, in form approved

by the Corporation Counsel, and fully indemnify them, and
each of them, against liability on account of any such
claim for damage on account of injury to person or property
connected with or arising from said granted use of said
Municipal Auditorium hereunder, in respect of claims for
the recovery of personal injuries, in the amount of 500,000.00
on account of any one accident and in the amount of 150,000.00
on account of injury to any one person and in respect of claims
for the recovery of damages on account of injury to property
in the amount of $100 000.00 on account of any one accident
and in the amount of 650,000.00 on account of any one claim.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that a written agreement by and
between said City and said Corporation providing for the grant-
ing of such uses of said Municipal Auditorium Building on said
dates upon the foregoing provisions, terms and conditions in
form approved by the Corporation Counsel, hereby is authorized
and the proper City officers hereby are authorized to execute
and deliver the-.same in the name and behalf of said City.
