In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on the east side of Arundel St. from
Blair Ave. to the south approximately 125 ft. abutting 438 Blair Ave., Lot 46,
Block 8, Smith's Subdivision of Blocks 2, 6, 7 and 8, of Stinson's Division of
the NW4 of Section 36, Township 29 North, Range 23 West
under Preliminary Order 209827 Approve r 2i�g2
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to reconstruct the
sidewalk on the east side of Arundel St. from Blair Ave. to the south approximately
125 ft. abutting 438 Blair Ave., Lot 1+6, Block 8, Smith's Subdivision of Blocks 2,..
6, 7 and 8, of Stinson's Division of the 16k of Section 36, Township 29 North, Range
23 West
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ =3.25 per 11n. ft. for 5' walk, $3.80
per lin. ft. for 6' walk, for mono. cone. walk 4"
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 7th day of
Flay, 1963 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
