COMMISSIONER ��_
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium and Oivic Buildings has reported in
accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the
period from January 1, 1963 through February 2nd, 1963 which'rendered necessary the employ-
ment of certain employees of the Department of Libraries, Auditorium and Civic Buildings,
Bureau of ,Auditorium, for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing
the following work:
Supervise during various activities, operate ventilating systems, operate PBX
switchboard during events held in the building.
and VERE,AS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances:
No other trained help available for work during road shows, moments institute
programs, hockey games, concerts and winter cannival events held in the building.
This time includes Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to pay the
employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Cohmil's
Salary Ordinance NO. 6446.
