therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Department
of Public Safety, Repair Shop, 1441 Rice Street, St. Paull Minnesota, One General
1250 -GPM gasoline motor driven Triple Combination Pumping Engine with Spicer 184
Automatic Transmission, to GENERAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT CORPORATION in accordance with
City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid -#9088 of said
General Safety Equipment Corporation for the contract price of $25,238.00, such bid
being the lowest and said General Safety Equipment Corporation being a reasonable and
reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is authorized to draw up the
proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby directed to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul,
