WHEREAS, examinations are to be given for the positions of
"Junior Accountant ", "Junior Civil Engineer ", "Personnel Aide ",
"Public Health Nurse ", and "Sanitarian Aide ", and
WHEREAS, it is highly unlikely that a sufficient list can be
established from among residents of the City of St. Paul, and
WHEREAS, it is highly desirable that competition be extended
to 1963 graduates of the University of Minnesota and other local
colleges, even though they are not residents of the City of St. Paul:
therefore, be it",
RESOLVED, that the residence requirements for admission to
examinations as provided in Section 10 D of th'e Civil Service Rules
are hereby waived for the first examination held for the respective
titles of "Junior Accountant ", "Junior Civil Engineer ", "Personnel Aide ",
Public Health Nurse ", and "Sanitarian Aide" to be held following
passage of this resolution; date of the examinations to be set at the
discretion of the Chief Civil Service Examiner.
