UNCIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and
Public Buildingshas reported, in accordance with
Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of
an emergency during the period from January 16 to
31, 1963, which rendered necessary the employment
of certain employees of the Department of Parks '
and Recreation and Public Buildings for more than
eight hours per day or forty hours per week in
doing the following work:
Processing payroll, and clerical and
stenographic work in the Recreation
office.
AND WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the follow-
ing facts and circumstances:
Segsonal increase in the work.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper city officers
are hereby authorized to pay the employees who per -
formed such work in accordance with the provisions
of the Council's salary ordinance, Ordinance No.
6446. Council File No. 211058 —By Frank L.

F Resolved, That the proper, City offi-
cers are hereby authorized to pay cer-
tain employes in the Department of
Parks and Recreation and Public Build-
ings for extra employment as described
in the resolution.
