WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota, by acid through its
Department of Highways, is-desirous of purchasing a portion
of that area known as the City Market owned by the City of
Saint Paul at a total price of $371,8+0.00, which real estate
has been appraised by the City Valuation Engineer who recom-
mends acceptance of the aforesaid offer; and
WHEREAS, the State is desirous of obtaining an option
on said City property which option sets forth the aforesaid
purchase price, the continued operation of said City Market
by said City until May 1, 1963, and provides for removal by
said City of certain sheds, buildings I and appurtenances
thereunto presently located on said City Market property, the
acceptance of which option by said City is recommended by the
City Valuation Engineer; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby
authorized to accept and to enter intb and execute the afore-
said option agreement and to complete the sale of part of
said City Market to the State of Minnesota at a sale price of
$371,840.00 and to execute appropriate deeds of conveyance
therefore; and
RESOLVED FURTHER, that appropriate city officials shall
obtain disclaimers of interest from parties presently having
interests in the portion of said City Market to be sold to
the State of Minnesota.
