WHEREAS, the City Architect has requested the
City Council to hold a public hearing to consider any com-
plaints about the expense incurred by the City of Saint
Paul in removing a dangerous structure at 651 Desoto Street,
more particularly described as North 23 1/3 feet of Lot 4,'
South 15 feet of Lot 5, Block 10, Warren & Winslow's Addi-
tion to Town of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the last known record
owners of the property are Luigi and Rose Gaglierde, Ramsey
County Home, Saint Paul, and copies of the proceedings were,
mailed to Patrick Gaglierde, 715 Burr Street, Saint Paul 1,
and Ramsey County Welfare Board, 476 St. Peter Street, Saint
Paul 2; therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Saint Paul hold a public hearing in the Council Chamber at
10 o'clock a. m. on the 13th day of February, 1963, to,con-
sider any complaints about the expense incurred by the City
of Saint Paul and to confirm the amount thereof; be it
� FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Architect notify
by,iiail the record'owners of the property in question at the
last known address, as well as other interested persons of
record.

WHEREAS, the City Architect has requested the
City Council to hold a public hearing to consider any com-
plaints about the expense incurred by the City of Saint
Paul in removing a dangerous structure at 651 DeSoto Street,
more particularly described as North 23 1/3 feet of Lot 49
South 15 feet of Lot 59 Block 109 Warren & Winslow's Addi-
tion to Town of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the last known record
owners of the property are Luigi and Rose Gaglierde, Ramsey
County Home, Saint Paul, and copies of the proceedings were
mailed to Patrick Gaglierde, 715 Burr Street, Saint Paul 1,
and Ramsey County Welfare Board, 476 St. Peter Street, Saint
Paul 2; therefore be it

Dear Council Members:
A statement of expense has been filed with the City Clerk on this
date for the purpose of creating a lien on the property known as
651 DeSoto Street, described as North 23 1/3 feet of Lot 4, South
15 feet of Lot 5, Block 10, Warren & Winslow's Addition to Torn of
Saint Paul.
This property is owned by Luigi and Rose Gaglierde, Ramsey County
Home, Saint Paul and copies of the proceedings were mailed to
Patrick Gaglierde, 715 Burr Street, Saint Paul 1 and Ramsey County
Welfare Board, 476 St. Peter Street, Saint Paul 2.
In this matter; the following resolutions were adopted by the City
Council:
C.F. 206403, adopted by the Council March 16, 1962 (published
March 24, 1962) set a public hearing at 10 A. M. April 6, 1962.
C.F. 206749, adopted by the Council April 11, 1962 (published
April 14, 1962), ordered the wrecking by and at the separate cost
and expense of the owner, occupant, or other person in control
thereof.
C.F. 207262, adopted by the Council May 16, 1962 (published May
19, 1962) directed the Commissioner of Parks And Recreation And
Public Buildings to enter the premises and wreck and remove the
dwelling thereon and do any and all things therein necessary for
the protection of life, limb, and adjoining property.
C.F. 208342, adopted by the Council July 27, 1962 (published July
28, 1962) approved the award of the contract for wrecking to All
State Improving Co. for the sum of $597.00 in accordance with
specifications and Informal Bid No. 4079.
C.F. 210848, ado ted by the Council January 18, 1963 (published
January 26, 1963 provided that the wrecking expense of $597.00

and expense of the Department of Parks and Recreation And Public
Buildings in connection with the condemnation in the amount of
Lbe .27, making a total of $649.27 be paid out of Wrecking Con-
ned Buildings Account of the General Fund, 31 G 22, and, in
event said sum proves collectible from the owner, same is to
credited to 31 G 22.
The building has now been satisfactorily wrecked and a regis-
tered bill mailed to the owners.
