COUN IL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM

WBEREAS, It has been deemed advisable and necessary for the City
of St. Paul to finance a portion of the construction cost with Municipal
State Aid Funds for the improvement of UNIVERSITY AVENUE from Jackson
Street to Robert Street; and
WHEREAS, This section of University Avenue was formerly a Municipal
State Aid Route and is now a portion of trunk highway No. 10 and 12; and
WHEREAS, Said construction project has been approved by the Minnesota
Department of Highways and identified in its records as S.A.P. 64- 010 -02;
now therefore, be it
RESOLVED,'That the City of St. Paul hereby requests that the Commissioner
of Highways authorize the expenditure of approximately_$25;000 dellars from
the City of St. Paul Municipal State Aid Construction Farad -to 'apply toward
the construction cost of said project; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the City Clerk is.hereby instructed to send two copies
of this resolution to the Commissioner of Highways.
