The conveyance restricts the City's use to public park, parkway, and playground purposes and provides for a reconveyance to the State in the event the public use is abandoned. The Port Authority is currently ac- quiring the lands in this area for the Riverview Indus- trial Park. In order to make this block, which-is le- gally described as Lots 1 through 24, St. Croix Lumber Co's Re- arrangement of Block 8, Marshall's Addition to West St. Paul, available to the Authority, I recommend that the parcels be reconveyed to the State of Minne- sota, in trust, as provided for by MS 281.25, and that the reconveyance be submitted to the Commissioner of Taxation of the State of Minnesota for his approval.
