WHEREAS, in seeking voter approval of the 1960
Charter amendment, there was a promise to appoint a citizens'
committee to study City finances; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Vavoulis appointed such a committee
in 1961 with Mrs. Marie O'Brien Slawik as chairman; and
this committee eecertaincexpenseowilltbesincurred, therefore
be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officers are hereby
authorized and directed to provide said committee, payable to
Mrs. Marie O'Brien Slawik, Chairman, a sum not to exceed
$500.00 for use of the committee, payable from Fund 3VG_4;
be it
FM--.HER RESOLVED, that Mrs. Slawik shall
accountable to the Mayor in the use of said money
