WHEREAS, the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer-District, created under
Laws of Minnesota 1961, Extra Session, Chapter 90, proposes and plans con-
struction of and requests consent of the City of Saint Paul, in so far as the
same may be found proper or necessary, to the inter - connection of sewage
disposal interceptors of the District to and with interceptor lines of the City
of Minneapolis, the same to'be made and used for such time and such purpose as
hereafter may be found under agreement to be mutually acceptable to the
District and to the City of Minneapolks; and
WHEREAS, under Laws of Minnesota 1961, Extra Session, Chapter 90,
it may be found proper or desirable that the District obtain approval
thereto from the City of Saint Paul and as well from the City of Minneapolis
before completing plans for making construction of such inter - connection
to the lines of the City of Minneapolis; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of; Saint Paul, that the City
hereby consents to and approves connection between the North Suburban
Sanitary Sewer District to and with interceptor lines in the City of Min-
neapolis. Said consent herein is made and given at this time for the purpose
of encouraging development of the contract method of solving the sewage
disposal problems of this area and is made without waiver on the part of
the Minneapolis -Saint Paul Sanitary District of any right in law or otherwise
as may now or hereafter be available to said District;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that this resolution is and shall be limited on the
part of the City of Saint Paul and the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District
to a general consent' and- approval of the proposal for construction of an -
inter - connection of sewage disposal lines between said District and the City
of Minneapolis and to enable said District to proceed further in respect
thereto in the development of plans and in accordance with plans and specifi-
cations hereinafter provided by said District under and pursuant to terms and
provisions therefor of an agreement to be made between the City of Minneapolis
and said District.
