PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK COUNCIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM COUNCIL NO FILE 212860 WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Finance has reported, in accor- dance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergen- cy during the period from May 1 through May 15, 1963, which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Depatment of Finance for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing-the following work: spreading assessments and checking assessment spreads and preparing auditorts report, and bringing transfer book records up to date; and WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: two vacancies in the Bureau of Receipts and Disburse- ments and a shortage of experienced assessment clerks; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay.the employees who performed such work in accor- dance with the provisions of the Councilts salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
