RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the City
of Saint Paul, Department of Public Works, Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891
North Dale, Saint Paul, Minnesota, One Intl CO202A Tilt Cab Track Chassis
including cost of transferring Etnyre 2,000 gallon street flusher unit from old
chassis, which vill be delivered by City of St. Paul to vendor, to new new chassis,
including the installation of all sprays, piping and cab controls to IXTERMATIONAL
HARVESTER COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached
and the Formal Bid +9280 of said International Harvester Company, at a cost of
$6,160.00 less allowance of 725.00 for 1957 Diamond T Chassis, model T30CP9 (City #104)
to be taken in trade, making net amount of contract $5,435.00, such bid being the
lowest and said International Harvester Company being a reasonable and reliable
bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper
form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized
to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
