PUBLISHED
RESOLVED upon and pursuant to the pertinent appeal, under
the Zoning Code, by Highview Nursing Home, Inc., owner of the subject
real estate, for a permit to construct, maintain, and operate a 52 -bed
nursing home on the following described real estate situate in the City
of Saint Paul:
Lots 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, and the North 1/2 of the
vacated alley adjoining Lots 25 and 26 and all of va-
cated alley adjoining Lots 23, 24, 29, 30, Block 86,
Dayton & Irvine's Addition to Saint Paul, according to
the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of
the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota;
situate on the south side of Irvine Avenue and the north side of Pleasant
Avenue, east of Ramsey Street, that the general provisions of said Zoning
Code hereby are determined and varied as and to the extent necessary
therefor and said permit hereby is granted to said appellant, Highview
Nursing Home, Inc., for the construction, maintenance, and operation of
said proposed 52 -bed nursing home on said premises, all subject to said
appellant's due compliance with all applicable municipal, State, and
Federal laws and all applicable rules and regulations of public authorities
having cognizance.

The City Council requested that you prepare a resolution granting the
attached appeal of Highview Nursing Home, Inc. for permit to construct
and operate a 52 bed nursing home on the south side of Irvine Ave. and the
north side of Pleasant Ave. east of Ramsey St., on Lots 23, 24, 25, 26, 29,
30 and the N2 of the vacated alley adjoining Lots 25 and 26 and all of
vacated alley adjoining Lots 23, 24, 29, 30, Block 86, Dayton & Irvine's
Addition., subject to compliance with all city and state requirements and
laws.

Under Section 60.15 of the Legislative Code of the City
Ordinances of the City of Saint Paul, we are hereby appealing for
the purpose of having a Use Permit to erect a nursing home on the
premises known as Lots 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, and 30 of Block 86,
Dayton and Irvine's Addition to the City of Saint Paul, located
between Irvine and Pleasant Avenue, approximately one block east
of Western. The property is presently vacant.
We are herewith submitting two sight plans which include
the following informations
Property lines and dimensions
Status of present and proposed grades
in relation to street or streets
Location and size of the proposed
buildings
Type and area of off - street parking
Over -all dimensions
all drawn properly to scale. We are also enclosing our draft for
$20.00, and hope that you will find it possible to grant our permit
as soon as possible.
