WHEREAS, on October 3rd and 4th! 1963, the Minnesota
Industrial and Business Survival Conference will be held at
the Leamington Hotel in Minneapolis; and

WHEREAS, the St. Paul Bureau of Civil Defense is a co-
sponsor with twenty -five other state and local associations,
institutions and governmental organizations; and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Bureau of Civil Defense is
Co- Chairman of the. Arrangements Committee and a member of
the Program Committee•and therefore responsible for staff
participation and assistance from-Bureau personnel; therefo're,'

expend the sum of $40.00 to -cover registration of four (4)
staff members required for participa.ti`6n and assistance in the
conduct of this conference from funds available in the
